What is an AI agent, and how is it different from ChatGPT?
A chat tool answers when you type. An agent works on its own: it answers your phone at night, writes the quote, files the invoice and follows up, then shows you what it did. It lives in your business, not in a browser tab.
Do we need new software?
No. Agents work inside the tools you already use: your phone number, WhatsApp, email, calendar, CRM and accounts package. You talk to them like a teammate, in the Claude or ChatGPT app, or on WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Teams or email.
Can the whole team use it, or only the owner?
The whole team. Each person is recognised by their login, Teams or Slack account or phone number, and can do what their role allows: an estimator drafts quotes, accounts chase invoices, and approvals go to whoever has the authority. Everyone works from the same memory and records, and private chats stay private. How each person reaches it, and who has their own Claude or ChatGPT login, is agreed for each business.
Can we use our existing ChatGPT or Claude subscription?
Yes. The agent that works with you runs on your own Claude or ChatGPT plan, so its thinking is covered by what you already pay, within your plan's limits. Only the calls and customer messages answered around the clock use metered AI, and that is capped and included in our fee.
Can it spend money or promise things without us?
Not unless you decide it can. Anything that commits money or makes a promise waits for your approval, and every action is logged.
How much does it cost?
A one-day audit is £450. Pilots start at £2,500, and running an agent starts at £350 a month with usage included up to a fair-use cap. Prices exclude VAT.
How long until an agent is working?
Most go live in 2 to 6 weeks. They start in draft mode, where a person approves everything, and earn more freedom as you trust them.
What if it doesn't work?
We agree one success number before the pilot starts. If the agent does not reach it, we refund the pilot fee.
Will callers know they are talking to an AI?
Yes. Our agents introduce themselves as your company's AI assistant and hand over to a person when asked.
